Innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Mask Tea Tree Review: Effectively Replenishes Parched Skin

If you are a Korean drama fan then you must have probably heard of Lee Min Ho. If you know who Lee Min Ho is then you most likely will have had or are having a crush on him. If you have a crush on him then you most certainly must be aware that Lee Min Ho is the brand ambassador of Korean skin care brand, Innisfree. But if you think that I purchased lots of Innisfree masks just because of LMH then you are….. partially right. 🙂 I know of Innisfree because LMH endorses it but I bought these masks because I am in complete awe of all Korean actors skin. If you see any Korean drama, you will know how radiant and spotless their skin is and like me, you will also wish to have such smooth and clear skin. I wanted to try Korean beauty products only to see if I could attain that kind of speckless skin. Well, here is my experience using Innisfree’s It’s Real Squeeze Tea Tree Mask.

What does it claim?

The mask contains tea tree that is effective in clearing troubled skin. The sheet has a moisturizing effect that keeps the skin healthy.

How to use?

Wash your face with a mild cleanser and pat it dry. Using a cotton ball gently rub a toner over your face that will help refine your skin texture. Remove the mask from its packet and place it on your face. Remove the mask after 20 minutes and gently massage the solution left on the skin and leave it on till it dries on your face. DO NOT wash it off as your skin needs to absorb the serum. The serum may feel sticky at first but don’t worry it will dry after some time and will leave you glowing and refreshed.

Does it fulfill its claim?

The sheet mask is extremely slimy, of course. It does not have a plastic sheet like the Skin Clinic Mask Collagen face mask had. So you can use any side to place it on your face. I use the one opposite to the nose fold. So, when I open the mask, I check which side the nose is folded and place the opposite side on my face. One thing about sheet masks that irritates me the most is the fact that the eye and nose holes are too small for my face. After placing the mask on my face, I squeezed the extra solution remaining in the pack and dabbed it onto the mask and rubbed the rest on my neck.

I left the mask on for around 20 minutes before discarding it and then gently massaged the serum on my face and left it on for another 30 minutes before washing it off with regular water. You are supposed to leave the serum on your skin till it dries. But since it was summer time, I washed it off as the serum felt extremely sticky and my oily skin would not absorb the serum completely.

Tea Tree is known to work on acne but I guess my acne is too resilient for Korean products. The mask did nothing for my acne and blemishes. I will have to try it again and leave it on longer to check if it really works on acne. However, it did what it claims of doing i.e. moisturize the skin. I have been testing a new face wash for the past few days and the face wash is so strong that it actually dried my skin and made it flaky. My skin doesn’t get flaky even in winters. This mask added the much-needed moisture to my skin especially the the flaky patch on my face and made it soft and smooth. Also, my skin looked brighter for a few hours after using the mask.
